How do you like the look of the blog?  Tell me I would like to know your thoughts or suggestions.  I also want to re post something that Chalkboard Nails did for HelloGiggles.com,  13 real easy nail art you can do yourself.  Chalkboard Nails is the first blog I followed when I started to get into nail art and she has some very cool ideas.  The last nail art in this article is a syrup gradient done by Polishinsomniac.  I wanted to make sure I gave credit where it is due because I have been crediting rebecca likes nails with this technique.  They are very similar  but the idea and effect are the same.  Also I should have some new stuff to try out in the future, so stay tuned.

Rainbow butterflies

Can I get an OOOOOOOO, AAAAAAAW!  I started with Zoya's Binx (purple), Harper (pink), Alma (yellow), Stassi (green), and Muse (blue) all beautiful jellies with holographic glitters.  For my nails Binx and Haper are on my thumb, Muse and Binx on my pointer, Stassi and Muse are on my middle, Alma and Stassi are on my ring, and Haper and Alma on my pinky.  I did a syrup gradient technique to blend the colors then I used MoYou's Pro plate collection 3 with Pure Ice's Black Out to stamp the butterfly wings on.  For Madisen's nails I let her pick out what order she wanted the colors and I used Konad's plate m20 for the flowers on the her pinky and m66's butterfly image for the rest of her fingers.

I finally got it!

I have been eye balling Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure's Black and Blue for quite a while and I found it on EBay with 7 other polishes for a fantastic price and I could not pass it up.  My pointer, middle, and ring finger has 3 coats Black and Blue, a metallic teal, but 2 would have been just fine.  I also use 3 different images stamped on my nails, the first is from Cheeky, plate CH11 a grid pattern and I used with Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Apparition, a silver shimmer.  The flowers were from MoYou London's Kitty collection plate #2 using Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Celeb City a metallic silver.  My pinky has Mermaid's Tale, a navy jelly with chunky blue and green glitter.  My thumb has Tulle Kit, a shimmery light blue silver, Black and Blue, and Mermaid's Tale gradient.

Madison and Maddy

One thing about me is that I sometimes pick colors because of their names, Here is Zoya's Madison a sheer light pink, I used 3 coats but 2 would have done just fine; and Julep's Maddy a raspberry shimmer.  They are very beautiful colors and I plan on doing a matching mani with my Madisen in the future.  The flowers are from MoYou London the Kitty collection plate #2, I used Maybelline's Color Show's Bold Gold , a great metallic gold for stamping.  Let me know what you think I should do for the Mommy Daughter mani.

Hawaiian Punch with a syrup gradient

Here is Hawaiian Punch with a syrup gradient, I got this idea off of elleandish // Janelle's YouTube channel, but I used chalkboardnails idea for the syrup gradient, who got the technique from rebecca likes nails.  I used Zoya's Alma and Harper, part of their 2014 summer collection Tickled and Bubbly, they are beautiful jellies with tons of holographic glitter.

Zoya's Tickled & Bubbly with the pond technique

No flash

Flash
Zoya's Tickled & Bubbly Summer 2014 collection.  There are six jellies with holographic glitter, the pointer is  Alma, middle is  Harper, ring is  Muse, and pinky is Stassi.  I was playing around with the pond technique using white dot flowers, there is 3 coats on each nail.  These colors are so very beautiful, I probable could have gotten away with just 2 coats.  I am loving the pond technique, you can find tutorials on YouTube.  What I did was brushed on a thin coat of jelly polish, when that was dried I placed 1-2 dot flowers close to the cuticles, let the flowers dry.  Then repeat but moving the flowers towards the free edge of the nail.  Next time I don't think I will use as many flowers as I did.  Let me know what you think.

1st nail stamping

These are my first attempts at nail stamping.  I saw these cute Winnie the Pooh and Hello Kitty nail stamping plates on YouTube and knew I needed them.  One came from Amazon an the other Ebay.

1st attempt

This is my first attempt with any kind of nail art.  After looking at many YouTube videos Madisen and I decided to try water marbling.
